BROCCOLI reveals the release date for otome ADV game JACKJEANNE (ジャックジャンヌ) on 5th August 2020 on Nintendo Switch. The game is a collaboration project with Tokyo Ghoul’s creator Sui Ishida (石田スイ).
Ishida is credited with the original work and character designs. He also worked on the world design, in-game illustrations, and insert song lyrics for the game. Tokyo Ghoul light novel series writer Shin Towada (十和田シン) worked on the game’s scenario alongside Ishida.
Akira Kosemura (小瀬村晶) is composing the music. Lownine is credited for concept art, while Seishiro is credited for choreography. Broccoli is developing the game in collaboration with Happinet.

▍Overview
The game will feature both visual novel and rhythm game elements. According to an announcement made by Broccoli, the game will have “20 novels” worth of story, and the game’s main scenario will be fully voiced.
The details about the game system are not yet revealed, but it will feature a performance part, which allows players to enjoy the character’s singing and dancing performance. The game also invites dancer Seishiroto to arrange the choreography.
▍Story
The story follows Tachibana Kisa, a girl attending prestigious male-only academy “Universe Drama School” where the students play both male and female parts, referred to as “Jacks” and “Jeannes” respectively. There, she must conceal her secret while fighting her way to the top – in other words, the lead role in the last play of the year.
