Mr. Qoo
A live-action movie is confirmed today (13th January) for Tomoko Yamashita's (ヤマシタ トモコ) BL manga “The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window” (さんかく窓の外側は夜). The movie enthralls fans with a star-studded cast. Masaki Okada (岡田将生), left, play as one of the protagonists Rihito Hiyakawa (冷川理人), and Jun Shison (志尊淳), right, as Kosuke Mikado (三角康介). “Goodbye, Grandpa” director Yukihiro Morigaki (森ガキ侑大) is directing the film, and “Gravity Clown” scriptwriter Tomoko Aizawa (相沢友子) is penning the script. The movie is scheduled to film in mid-February. Yamashita serialized the manga in Libre Publishing's Magazine BExBOY since March 2013 and Libre Publishing released the manga's seventh volume in April 2019. The eighth volume is scheduled to publish on 10th February 2020. The seven volumes have over one million copies in circulation. The story centers around shy bookstore clerk Kosuke Mikado, who has the ability to see ghosts and spirits. It is an ability he wishes he didn’t have, since what he sees usually terrifies him. Rihito Hiyakawa, an exorcist whose supernatural powers are as strong as his social graces are weak, doesn’t seem to fear anything, mortal or otherwise. When this odd couple gets together to solve the bizarre cases that come their way, their work methods may not be entirely safe for work...
