Aniplex and Walt Disney Japan’s upcoming smartphone ADV game “Disney Twisted Wonderland” (ディズニー ツイステ) officially launches for iOS and Android devices today (18th March).

▍Overview
“Disney Twisted Wonderland” is a smartphone game featuring characters designed by “Black Butler” creator Yana Toboso (枢やな), who is also in charge of writing the script of the main story.
The story starts with you dropping into the unknown world of Disney and you meet the mysterious masked headmaster of Night Coven College, who promised to protect you. With the hope of finding your way home, you stay in the academy and encounter the students with different personalities.
The academy is divided into seven dormitories and each takes inspiration from a signature Disney villain, including Maleficent from “Sleeping Beauty”, Scar from “Lion King”, The Evil Queen from “Snow White”, Jafar from “Aladdin”, Ursula the Sea Witch from “The Little Mermaid”, and The Queen of Hearts from “Alice in Wonderland”.
▍Gameplay
Players can enjoy the fully-voiced main story and the characters are presented in live 2D animation.
In the story mode, you will encounter and exorcise different evil spirits simply by tapping the note on the screen. Different songs will be available as the story goes.
You can also form teams with different characters and attack enemies with their magic skills in the adventure mode. Different enemies have different weaknesses, so selecting the correct types of characters becomes crucial.
Different magic lessons will be available for you to train the students, including the History of Magic, Alchemy, and Flying, which enhances the different abilities of the characters.
