Based on the mixed media project “Strike Witches”, the TV anime “Allied Air Force Magical Idols Luminous Witches” (連盟空軍航空魔法音楽隊ルミナスウィッチーズ) reveals a special PV, staff and cast. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2021.

▍About the Series
“Allied Air Force Magical Idols Luminous Witches” is a project celebrating the 10th anniversary of the “Strike Witches” franchise. It centers on witches who defend everyone’s smiles and fight enemies through the healing power of music. These witches, opposite of those in the defense fleet, are idols known as the Music Squadron.
“Strike Witches” also confirms another anime adaptation “Strike Witches ROAD to BERLIN” to be aired in October 2020.
▍Staff and Production
Strike Witches series script writer Shouji Saeki (佐伯昭志) is directing the anime and handling the series composition at SHAFT. Humikane Shimada (島田フミカネ) is in charge of the character designs for the new Witches. He is also credited with the original work, together with Projekt World Witches.
