The two-part anime film “Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon Eternal” (Pretty Guardians Sailor Moon Eternal) today (24th April) unveils a new visual, video and cast. The film’s first part is scheduled to premiere on 11th September 2020.
The movies follow the Dream/ Dead Moon Arc in Naoko Takeuchi’s (武内 直子) original manga and the anime’s fourth season “Sailor Moon SuperS”.
Takeuchi will also supervised the movie project, while Chiaki Kon (今 千秋) is returning from the anime’s third season to direct the two films. Kazuko Tadano (只野 和子), the character designer for the original Sailor Moon anime, is designing the characters. “Miss Monochrome The Animation” series composition Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (筆安 一幸) is penning the scripts.

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (松岡禎丞) is confirmed to join the cast as Pegasus / Helios in the movie. Pegasus is a deity who enters Chibiusa’s dreams to flee from the Amazon Trio, minions of the Dead Moon Circus, who are trying to steal the legendary Golden Crystal from him.
