Jun Maeda (麻枝准), Na-Ga, and P.A.WORKS, the production team behind “Angel Beats!” and “Charlotte”, announces the production of a new original TV anime “The Day I Became a God” (神様になった) and will premiere in October 2020.
Maeda is credited with the original work and as scriptwriter. Na-Ga is returning from many other Visual Art’s/Key projects as the original character designer. P.A. Works is animating the series. It will be a project for the production team to return to their origin point after the production of “Angel Beats!” in 2010 and “Charlotte” in 2015.

▍Synopsis
Hina, the girl who wakes up as a God, makes a prophecy that the world will end soon.
She selects a young man and accompanies him to spend his time until the very end.

▍Special Programme
A special TV programme “The Moving Trace of Key and Jun Maeda ” will air on TOKYO MX on 24th May 2020 at 20:30. Voice actor Hikaru Midorikawa (緑川 光) will be the narrator of the programme. More information about the TV anime “The Day I Became a God” will be revealed in the programme.
