The Music Interact Football for All (MIFA) organization announces its mascot Mifanda is inspiring an anime adaptation, “Utau Soccer Panda Mifanda” (歌うサッカーパンダ ミファンダ), which is scheduled for this July.
The anime casts Kensho Ono (小野賢章) and Taichi Ichikawa (市川太一) as Mifanda’s teammates No. 3 and No. 18, respectively. A new youtube channel, MIFA OFFICIAL CHANNEL, also opens to deliver the newest information of the anime.
Mifanda is a panda mascot created by MIFA, an organization bringing together soccer and music to promote communication. His eyes turn into pentagons when he sees his favorite soccer ball. As he loves music so much that he always wears his earphone. He wishes to bring love and peace to the world through soccer and music.
