P.A.WORKS’ original TV anime “Appare-Ranman!” (天晴爛漫！) announces that it will restart its broadcast on 3rd July 2020 from the first episode. The anime series premiered on 10th April and its fourth episode has been postponed due to the effects of the new coronavirus disease.

▍Synopsis
It is the end of the 19th century and on the eve of the next one.
After a certain mishap, the brilliant but socially inept engineer Sorano Appare (空乃天晴) and the shrewd but cowardly samurai Isshiki Kosame (一色小雨) find themselves drifting on a boat from Japan to America.
Broke, the two decide to compete in the Trans-America Wild Race to win the prize and return to Japan. The two battle crazy rivals, outlaws, and the great outdoors itself as they race through the wild West from the starting line in Los Angeles to the finish line in New York — in the steam-powered car they built.
▍Staff and Production
“Appare-Ranman!” is originally a project created by Takeshi Kikuchi (菊池 剛) and Daijō Kudō (工藤 大丈), with APPERRACING developing the original story concept. “Crayon Shin-chan” Anime film director Masakazu Hashimoto (橋本 昌和) is directing, supervising the series scripts, and credited with the original story drafts.
Yurie Oohigashi (大東 百合恵) is designing the characters based on the original designs by “Lindbergh” mangaka Ahndongshik (アントンシク), as well as serving as chief animation director.
Mia REGINA performs the series’ opening theme song “I got it!” and the ending song will be performed by voice actor Showtaro Morikubo (森久保祥太郎).
