NetEase Games announced on its official Twitter that it is collaborating with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the development of “The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War”, a new officially licensed mobile strategy game based on the iconic trilogy of books by J.R.R. Tolkien.

The game is specifically designed for mobile. It aims to offer a “visually stunning and completely faithful rendition” of Tolkien’s fantasy world, featuring well-known characters and locations from across the original trilogy.
