The TV anime adaptation of Okina Baba’s (馬場翁) light novel series “So I’m a Spider, So What?” (蜘蛛ですが、なにか？) will be delayed to January 2021 due to the effects of the new coronavirus disease pandemic. The anime was originally announced for 2020 and it will run for two consecutive cours.
The series follows the adventure of a high school girl who reincarnates into a spider. The light novel series launched on the “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” website in May 2015. It was collected into 12 volumes by Kadokawa as of 10th January 2020. The series also ranked second on the list of best novels in the 2018 edition of Takarajimasha’s Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! (This Light Novel Is Amazing!) guidebook.
Aoi Yūki (悠木 碧) will cast as the protagonist.
I used to be a normal high school girl but in the blink of an eye, I woke up in a place I’ve never seen before and-and I was reborn as a spider?! How could something that’s nothing more than a tiny spider (that’s me) possibly survive in literally the worst dungeon ever? Are there no rules? There should be some rules! Who the hell is responsible for this? SHOW YOUR FACE!
