“Talentless Nana" Anime Reveals 1st PV, Cast and October Premiere

The anime adaptation of Looseboy (るーすぼーい) and Iori Furuya’s (古屋庵) supernatural manga ‘Talentless Nana”( 無能なナナ) is confirmed to premiere this October! The first PV, main cast, and staff are also revealed.

Voice actress Miyu Tomita (富田美憂) performs the opening theme song “Broken Sky”, while pop singer/idol Chiai Fujikawa (藤川千愛) performs the ending song “Known As A Monster” (バケモノと呼ばれて).

“Fairy Tail” and “Log Horizon” director Shinji Ishihira (石平信司) is directing the series at Bridge. “Kanon” and “Clannad” series composition Fumihiko Shimo (志茂文彦) is in charge of the series scripts. Satohiko Sano (佐野聡彦) is drawing character designs.

The story is set in the year 20XX. Earth has been assaulted by monsters known as ‘the Enemy of Humanity’. In order to deal with this threat, special schools composed of teenagers with extraordinary abilities were formed.

These people, who came to be known as ‘the Talented’, have abilities that defy the rules of reality. Among these superpowered individuals was an outlier, someone who was sent to one of these schools despite having no innate special abilities whatsoever.

This is the story of the protagonist Nana, who attempts to defeat the Enemies of Humanity through the use of intelligence and manipulation.
