Today (25th September), DMM GAMES broadcasted their TGS2020 highlighting the Assault Lily project.
The live-stream started with a brief introduction to the project, going over the world setting of the project, introducing key “Lillies” that players will meet in the game, and the special weapons, CHARMS, which is unique to each individual lily. A PC version of the game was also announced during the live-stream.
▍Story
The story is set in the near future, as humanity faced imminent destruction from mysterious giant creatures known as “Huge.” The entire world unites against the Huge, and successfully develops a counter weapon known as “CHARM” by combining science and magic. CHARM exhibits high rates of synchronization with teenage girls, and the girls who use CHARM are viewed as heroes called “Lilies.”
Throughout the world, “Garden” military academies are established to train Lilies to face the Huge and to serve as bases to protect and guide people. This is a story about the girls who aim to become Lilies at one such Garden.
▍Combat
Players will set their lilies on offense or support. Players will be able to collect Memory Cards, animated cards, that can be equipped on Lillies to improve their stats.
▍CHARM
During the live-stream, more details on CHARMS and how players can improve them were revealed. As players play through clear stages in the game, they will collect materials that can be used to strengthen their CHARMS. Each improvement will bring benefits to the relative Lily and after a certain level special Character Link skills will be unlocked.
