NetEase Games today (6th November) announces that the smartphone version of ArtPlay’s “Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night” will release worldwide in mid-December priced at US$9.99. The game also opens for pre-registration on the official site.
The game will support multiple languages including English, Japanese, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, and Korean languages.

▍Overview
“Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night” is a Metroidvania video game developed by former “Castlevania” series producer Koji Igarashi, and is considered a spiritual successor to the series. The game is the second in the “Bloodstained” series and was first released for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in June 2019. The mobile version includes all DLC of the console game.
“Bloodstained” takes place in 18th century England during the Industrial Revolution. Players will play as Miriam, an orphan scarred by an alchemist curse which slowly crystallizes her skin. You must battle your way through a demon-filled castle summoned by Gebel, your old friend whose body has become more crystal than flesh.

The smartphone version will feature a brand new UI that is adapting the gameplay systems for mobile devices. Over 120 devils, 107 weapons and 23 skills will be available in the smartphone game. The 107 weapons and 23 weapon skills have also been adapted to let players customize their fighting style, even without a controller.
It features a 2D-map, that has been adapted to be explored on mobile devices, as well as the familiar shard-buff-system from the console- and PC-version. The mobile version is also confirmed to include a new playable character, a boss rush mode and speedrun mode.
