Koei Tecmo Games and Aniplex yesterday (8th November) revealed the development of a new “La Corda d’Oro” simulation smartphone game “La Corda d’Oro Starlight Orchestra” (金色のコルダ スターライトオーケストラ), which is set to launch in 2021. The game also opens for pre-registration and a trial version is set to launch soon.
The official site also reveals a teaser movie featuring character designs by mangaka Shinobu Takayama (高山しのぶ) and animation by CloverWorks. It also previews the game’s theme song “Birthday” (バースデー) by Japanese band DISH, below.
The “La Corda d’oro” series is a work based on classical music, and is a training simulation game in which the protagonist develops bonds and love with music and boys of the same generation.
“La Corda d’Oro Starlight Orchestra” is a completely new work which not only features familiar characters from Seiso Academy, but also new musicians from all over Japan and the world. The cast members from the “La Corda d’oro” series will also reprise their roles.
Players can now pre-register the game via Mail or following the Official Twitter. The pre-registration rewards are as follows:
