Square Enix and Luminous Productions announced that the new action RPG “Project Athia” is officially titled “Forspoken” during yesterday’s Square Enix Presents online showcase event. It is set to launch for PS5 and PC in 2022.
In “Forspoken,” players will play as Frey Holland (portrayed by actress Ella Balinska), an ordinary young woman who must harness her magical abilities to survive in a fantastical and dangerous land called Athia. Players will follow Frey to explore an unknown world and facing treacherous trials to unravel the mystery behind Athia.
The is a debut title for Square Enix’s newly established studio, Luminous Productions. It is said to harness the full power of the console and demonstrate Luminous Productions’ philosophy to provide a gaming experience like never before, fusing together the latest technology with creativity.
