Ubisoft has just kicked off the E3 weekend with the Ubisoft Forward program! The show unveiled exciting news for the highly anticipated Far Cry 6 to the mystical adventures in Assassins Creed Valhalla, the epic. battles in For Honor, Watch Dog Legion, and the long-awaited first look the highly anticipated Avatar Project!
▍Rainbow Six Extraction
During the show, Ubisoft treated Rainbow Six fans with a new trailer for the upcoming Rainbow Six Extraction. In the new trailer, we got to take at some of the alien parasite enemies you’ll be facing, as well as some of the REACT Techs that will be at your disposal. Most exciting of all during the Rainbow Six Extraction segment was a full gameplay walkthrough of a mission in the Orpheus Research Center in Alaska. The gameplay showed a playthrough of the 3 different subzones, each more challenging than the previous. The deeper players go the more rewards they can expect, but the higher the threat.
Rainbow Six Extraction is a co-op experience where players will be working together instead of facing one another. Players will have access to familiar operators. As players complete more campaigns, they will rescue more MIA operators who have been abducted by the aliens. Once these MIA operators are extracted, they will be unlocked and players will be able to play as them. Each time players jump into a campaign, they risk losing all their upgrades and progress for that operator, giving each game an exciting risk to keep you on your toes. The game will also include a cross-play feature.
▍Rocksmith
Seemingly out of nowhere, Ubisoft announced Rocksmith+. The interactive way to play and learn your favorite music on guitar and bass with full community features allowing you to seek and give advice to each other. Rocksmith+ will be a subscription-based service that will be available on PC and mobile. The Rocksmith Workshop will allow players to upload their own arrangements of songs licensed in the expansive Rockmsith music library giving all players new takes on their favorite songs.
Players can now register for a closed beta for Rockmsith+ now on the official website!
▍Riders Republic
Thrill-seekers can now chase the adrenaline with Riders Republic. The game features a multitude of different activities online against other players. Each activity will also have additional modules which will reward players with stars. The more stars players collect, the more new activities and modules they can unlock.
The game will also feature a massive world for players to explore. The world is not the only thing that will be massive in the game. Players will also be able to participate in mass races with other players online to see who will come out on top! The game is now available for pre-order. Riders Republic will be released on 2nd September 2021.
▍Rainbow Six Siege
Six years into the Siege journey, Ubisoft unveiled new updates to Rainbow Six Siege including cross-play and cross-progression. Rainbow Six Siege players can finally play against players from different platforms as well as experience the game on different platforms without losing progress.
During the Rainbow Six Siege segment, Ubisoft also revealed a new trailer for the new operator, Thunderbird.
▍Just Dance 2022
During the show, Ubisoft invited Todrick Hall to unveil Just Dance 2022. Ubisoft has unveiled that in Just Dance 2022 a special edition of Hall’s hit single “Nails, Hair, Hip, Heels”. The game will release later this year on 12th August 2021.
▍Assassins Creed Valhalla
Journey once again as Eivor with the new updates Ubisoft has in store! From new time-limited events to the long-awaited introduction of one-handed swords that will be added to the game in the near future. The Siege of Paris expansion will bring players to the most ambitious Viking siege in Paris. Players will be brought to Paris to face new challenges, puzzles, and enemies with new skills to use to your advantage! Also coming to the game will be “The Discovery Tour Viking Age”. The new experience will put players in the shoes of different characters living in the Viking age to explore what life was truly like in the age of vikings. The new experience will be available to all players to own Assassins Creed Valhalla.
The AC Valhalla ssegment also teased that Eivor is not done with Odin yet…
▍Far Cry 6
Far Cry’s villains have always captured the hearts of gamers. During the Ubisoft Forward show, Ubisoft revealed a new trailer for the game showing Anton catching his son Diego in an attempt to escape Yara and Anton’s reach. The new footage shows just how chilling Anton is. The end of the Far Cry 6 segment also revealed that the Far Cry 6 Season Pass will allow players to dive into the twisted minds of Far Cry villains for the first time ever!
▍Mario Rabbid Returns
Nintendo and Ubisoft’s collaboration continues. Following the crazy adventures of the first game, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope brings players through space. Jumping out of Mushroom Kingdom, players will have an entire galaxy to save. The new game will introduce new characters like Rabbid Rosalina! The new game will introduce new “action elements” to the game to push the genre to new heights. Just like the first game, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will be available exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
▍Project Avatar First Look
Finally, after years of waiting, Ubisoft showed us the first looks of Project Avatar, now officially titled “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora”. The game is created with Ubisoft’s latest version of the Snowdrop Engine. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is slated for 2022. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia and Luna.
▍Watch Dogs Legion Bloodline
If you haven’t already seen it, Ubisoft also revealed the new Watch Dogs: Legion expansion “Bloodline” which features Aiden Pearce! The new expansion will launch in early July 2021.
