Metroid Dread will stay true to the series’ classic 2D perspective whilst having 3D graphics. According to the game’s producer, Yoshio Sakamoto, the game will see Samus on an unknown planet facing a “relentless threat”, hence the title Dread. Metroid Dread will also include new features like sliding and a melee counter to make the gameplay smoother for players.
