XD Network announced a new rhythm game Rotaeno, which is set to release for mobile in 2022. The game is said to be “the world’s first rotary rhythm game that makes clever use of mobile gyroscopes” and is developed by Dream Engine Games, formed by a group of students in Hong Kong. It will support Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean languages.

Rotaeno is a rhythm mobile game featuring an innovative control method that makes use of the smartphone gyroscope. In addition to tapping the notes like a traditional rhythm game, players have to tilt the mobile to catch the notes falling from the center of the screen.
Composer HyuN, who provided music for many music games, is supervising the music provided in Rotaeno. In addition, original songs by composers known to music gamers such as KOTONOHOUSE and Sound Souler will be available.
