DeNA officially launched Touhou Project’s first mobile rhythm game Touhou Danmaku Kagura for iOS and Android on August 4. The game also revealed future updates and events during the game launch live stream.
▍Overview
Touhou Danmaku Kagura is the first rhythm mobile game of the Touhou Project franchise. The game features the hit songs of the Touhou Project franchise. Players can build your team with more than 40 signature characters, use their card skills and enjoy their individual stories.
Players can also build famous places in “Gensokyo” such as “Scarlet Devil Mansion” and “Chireiden” with an aim to rebuild “Gensokyo”. As the reconstruction progresses, more visitors will come and unlock fully-voiced episodes. You can also dispatch the characters to collect materials for the reconstruction.
▍Pre-registration Rewards
Pre-registration of Touhou Danmaku Kagura has reached 1 million. All players can obtain all the pre-registration rewards including SSR Reimu Hakurei, SSR Marisa, and Spirit Stones that is equivalent to 14 times gacha.

▍Game Launch Event
To celebrate the game launch, players who login to the game from August 14 to September 5 can obtain 1 gacha ticket every day with a maximum of 14 gacha tickets. Complete the Beginner’s Missions can obtain an SSR card.
1,000 Spirit Stones and SSR Youmu Konpaku will also be presented to all players to celebrate the broadcast of the live stream and CM.
▍New Playable Songs
New playable songs will be added to the game for 5 consecutive days starting from August 5. The songs include Gekokujoujou (下克上々) by Buta Otome, Danzai wa amaneku ningen no moto ni (断罪は遍く人間の元に) by Unlucky Morpheus, Poker Face by ZYTOKINE, Scream out! by A-One, andRezaMari demo Tsurakunai! (レザマリでもつらくないっ!) by COOL&CREATE.
▍First Event “Scarlet Devil Mansion ~ Night of Knights”
The first in-game event “Scarlet Devil Mansion ~ Night of Knights” will be held between August 10 to 17. The overcrowding situation of Scarlet Devil Mansion makes Patchouli furious and she decides to capture all the visitors in the mansion with deadly traps.
Players will be able to obtain SR Marisa Kirisame and Remilia Scarlet in the event. Night of Knights (ナイト・オブ・ナイツ) will also be added as a playable song.
▍New Characters
Tatara Kogasa (CV: Takagi Miyu) and Saigyouji Yuyuko (CV: Nanami Kashiyama) will be joining the game on August 14 and 20 respectively.
