The first free update for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles officially arrives today on November 4!
Rui (Lower Five) and Akaza (Upper Three) of the Twelve Kizuki will be available as playable characters in Versus Mode as part of this update, which also includes new Online Missions, Reward Panels, and bug improvements.
Along with this announcement, the official V-Jump YouTube channel posted an 18-minute video showing the two new characters in action.
Six more characters will join the game in the second and third updates. It was also announced that Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles had sold over 1 million copies worldwide upon its launch month on October 14, 2021 in Japan and October 15, 2021 worldwide.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles features two modes that allow you to dive into the world of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
The adventure mode allows you to control Tanjiro and experience the events from the“Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc” to Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train, while the Versus Mode lets you assemble a team of two of your favorite characters and battle against other players.
Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
