Haruichi Furudate’s Haikyu!! manga series kicks off the celebration of its 10th anniversary with two new illustrations of Kenma Kozume and Tetsurō Kuroo.
Haikyu!! was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2012 to July 2020, with its chapters collected in forty-five tankōbon volumes.
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Haikyu!! manga series in 2022, ten major projects are currently underway, and four of them have been revealed at today’s Jump Festa 2022.
First, the project will feature a special 10th anniversary visual illustrated by Furudate. A short radio drama written by Furudate will be broadcast in 2022 on the Web radio “Karasuno High School Broadcasting Club” capturing the everyday life of the characters.
The Haikyu !! manuscript exhibition will return from February 19 to March 11, 2022 in Sunshine City, Ikebukuro, Tokyo with newly added exhibits. A unique collaboration event with V.LEAGUE, Japan’s top-level semi-professional volleyball league, will also be held in 2022.
