Aniplex announced that it will be releasing the Disney Twisted-Wonderland mobile game in the US and Canada on January 20, 2022. Alongside this announcement, a pre-registration campaign is now available, as well as an official site showing some screenshots of the game’s translated screens.
Disney Twisted Wonderland is an otome game featuring character design by Black Butler creator Yana Toboso, who is also in charge of writing the script of the main story. f4samurai is the developer.
The story starts with you dropping into the unknown world of Disney and you meet the mysterious masked headmaster of Night Coven College, who promised to protect you. With the hope of finding your way home, you stay in the academy and encounter the students with different personalities.
The academy is divided into seven dormitories and each takes inspiration from a signature Disney villain, including Maleficent from “Sleeping Beauty”, Scar from “Lion King”, The Evil Queen from “Snow White”, Jafar from “Aladdin”, Ursula the Sea Witch from “The Little Mermaid”, and The Queen of Hearts from “Alice in Wonderland”.
