The second season of the Shadows House anime is confirmed to debut in July 2022. A new teaser visual is also revealed in conjunction with the announcement.
The series follows Emiriko, a doll who serves the living shadow, Kate. In addition to being her maid, Emiriko is expected to become Kate’s “face” once her mistress is old enough to be introduced to the other residents of the sprawling mansion in which they live. Emiriko believes that all she needs to do is work hard and make Kate happy, but things in the mansion aren’t so simple or pleasant.
The staff members will return from the previous season, which includes Kazuki Ohashi as director and Toshiya Ono as series composition. Shihomi Matsubayashi is newly joined as character designer, together with Chizuko Kusakabe. CloverWorks is again the animation studio. The cast will also reprise their roles.
