SEGA officially launched the offline version of Sonic At the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 on Android and iOS for USD$0.99. The paid title allows gamers to play all content available on the online version, which was discontinued on December 15, 2021. There are, however, a few things that were removed.
▍Offline Version x Online Version Differences
All attractions and sports can be played normally. The following features have changed from the online version:
- Daily Challenge no longer occurs.
- Various ranking-related features were disabled.
- Friend function and “Link with social media” features disabled.
- Badges and Titles can no longer be obtained. If you already had data from the online version on your device, you can carry your Badges and Titles over.
- Account transfer can no longer be done.
- In-app purchases are disabled.

Sonic At the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is the official mobile game of the Olympic Games, featuring characters from the Sonic series. The game features many of the most popular Olympic events, including the newly adopted events for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games held in July 2021. Players progress through stages placed at tourist attractions in Tokyo.
