Idol franchise Pretty Rhythm’s (プリティーリズム) spin-off KING of PRISM (キング・オブ・プリズム) will have a new movie, King of Prism: PRIDE the HERO, released in this year. A movie trailer is now available.
In this coming movie, idol group Over the Rainbow’s agency Edel Rose is on the verge of being dissolved while a competition is held to decide who the Prism King is. It is directed by prequel KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm’s director Masakazu Hishida. Voice actors including Tetsuya Kakihara, Tomoaki Maeno and Toshiki Masuda will reprise their roles as members of Over the Rainbow.
The movie will premiere in Japan on 10th June. A mobile game based on it will also come out in this year.
