The TV anime adaptation of Koharu Inoue’s The Duke of Death and His Maid fantasy romantic manga has confirmed a second season that will debut in 2023! The manga also comes to an end with its final episode launching on Sunday Webry today.
To celebrate the news, a new illustration was also revealed. The official Twitter (@bocchan_anime) is currently having a retweet campaign until 23:59 [JPT] on May 23, where participants will have the opportunity to get a QUO card with this new visual. Furthermore, on May 17 today, the first period of animation will be delivered once more on ABEMA TV.
▍About The Duke of Death and His Maid
Koharu Inoue first serialized the manga online via Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry website from October 2017 to May 2022, with its chapters collected in fourteen tankōbon volumes as of November 2021. An anime television series adaptation by J.C.Staff aired from July to September 2021.
The series centers on the Duke of Death cursed to steal life from any living thing that he touches. He is accompanied by his maid Alice, who enjoys teasing him, but is the only remaining person devoted to him.
