Bandai Namco announced the release date for its latest SD Gundam action RPG, SD Gundam Battle Alliance. The game will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on Steam on August 25, 2022.
Players take control of Super Deformed (SD) versions of Mobile Suits from the Gundam series in the G: Universe, a place where timelines, canon, and the stories of all the Gundam worlds twists and break in unpredictable ways. You’re tasked with setting the timelines straight, by completing missions solo, or in a 3-player co-op with several ways to strengthen and upgrade your favorite Gundams.

Those that purchase the game early will be able to get a bunch of unlockables and bonuses in their game! The physical editions of the game will come with the SD Gundam World Sangoku Soketsuden pack, while digital versions get to unlock Musha Gundam Early! The Steam version will come with both physical and digital bonuses.

The game will also release with an Ultimate, and Deluxe Edition. Both editions come with a Season pass, while the ultimate edition gets a premium sound and data pack! A collector’s edition will also be made available, containing everything in the Ultimate edition, along with limited edition figures with unique colors of Musha Gundam, Knight Gundam, and Command Gundam!
