During a special live stream, the Vtuber agency company Hololive debuted two new trailers for their metaverse projects, Hololive Alternative and its game, Holoearth. The game is currently under development for PC and Mobile.
The preview video featured members of Hololive JP, EN, and ID, with the track “Story Time” sung by the Star Flower Unit consisting of Hoshimachi Suisei, Moona Hoshinova, AZKi, and IRyS. While the new concept movie gave us a glimpse of the game’s concept, from monster battling to base building!
Details were also released on the new character that will be featured in both projects You Kururu, who was designed by Masaru Sakamoto, an artist that worked on SSSS. Gridman and SSSS. Dynazenon!

Featured in both trailers is a new character You Kururu, designed by SSSS. Gridman Artist Masaru Sakamoto, and will be a playable character for both projects. Concept art for the character was released and shared on official Twitter.
▍About the Projects
The Alternative project is a metaverse multi-media project spanning several media, from live concerts, to fan interactions and a video game. The goal is to tell a fantasy story featuring the Vtuber characters using several new types of media to engage fans with their favorite characters.
Holoearth meanwhile is a metaverse game focusing on the Hololive characters building new homes in a brand new world, with fantasy-action gameplay being involved as many of the character’s origin stories involve fantasy elements in some form.
