Based on Nanatsuki Mukunoki’s Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me manga, the Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me: Precious Friends anime film revealed a new teaser video and key visual. The movie is set to premiere on October 14 in Japan’s theatres
The new key visual shows the characters Miyako, Hana, Hinata, Noai, Koyori, and Kanon enjoying themselves at the site of the trip they will be heading to. The teaser video previewed the film’s new theme song, “Precious friends” sung by the group WATATEN!☆5 which is comprised of the voice cast of the anime.
To celebrate the release of the film, a special sound collection will be available for purchase on October 12, included in the sound collection is the film’s theme song, and further details will be made available at a later time. A fan book of the original anime will also be released online, featuring new illustrations, key visuals, and more!
▍ Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me Story
Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down To Me is a 4-panel manga series following the daily lives of Miyako, an incredibly shy college student who is actually a master of creating outfits for cosplays. When her younger sister Hana brings her friend Hinata to visit Miyako becomes entranced by Hinata and has Hinata dress up and pose in cosplay in exchange for snacks. As the girls become close, Hana brings in more friends, and Miyako slowly becomes something of an icon to her classmates as she makes more friends and breaks out of her shyness.
