Success announced Buccanyar<\/a><\/strong>, a new adventure and marine combat game that will be released for PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buccanyar sets in a maritime world where the main characters, along with a crew of evolved cats, go on a ship adventure across their world. Mysterious “gods,” demons, and unique pirates also appear in the game, and a grand story about the mysteries of the world thus unfolds…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this title, you’ll select one of the three heroines to command the small boat Galetta, which is loaded with a two-layer spirit furnace, in a fierce battle. Each heroine has her own unique abilities, and since each of the heroines’ abilities can make her superior or inferior in battle, it seems that taking command by making the most of those abilities will lead to victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game will have two game modes. In Voyage Mode, players operate a ship with their AI cats to go on adventures and fight other ships and sea monsters. Stages appear one after another as the scenario progresses, and include navigation routes, hunting grounds, and fishing grounds. Each gameplay is unique, as each navigation route is randomly generated!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game also has a Port Mode, where you can customize your ship, crew, and exchange resources obtained through battles for cash. You can upgrade your ship as you go along. Success will have a booth at the Tokyo Game Show 2022, which will be held from September 15 to 18, and will have three test stands where visitors can play a trial version of Buccanyar, which is currently under development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, visitors will be able to take pictures with cosplayers dressed as Kanna in the booth. Those who play the game and upload pictures taken at the booth to social media will receive special pin badges and a satchet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
