Announced at the Nintendo Direct on September 13, developer HAL Laboratory announced Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe<\/a><\/strong>, which is set to release for Nintendo Switch on February 24, 2023 worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the many trailer drops of remakes, ports and remasters shown at yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, fans of the space-faring pink puff were in for a surprise as the company revealed that the classic title on the Wii will make a return on the Switch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First debuting back in 2011 as the first ever title on the Wii, the original Wii release was a 2.5-dimensional side-scroller that was a return to form for console releases of Kirby<\/a><\/strong> games. HAL Laboratory deviated in game style with titles such as Kirby’s Air Ride on the Game Cube on the previous console generations, leaving some fans yearning for a traditional platformer game then. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
