Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has revealed a teaser visual and a 2023 premiere date. The visual, which portrays Gojo Satoru, Geto Suguru, and Shoko Ieiri in their\u00a0second-year Jujutsu High uniforms, opens the veils of \u201cThe Origin of Blind Obedience\u201d arc that the second season will be focusing on. \u00a0Studio MAPPA is again animating the new season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A\u00a0special program will be held on September 18 on Japan’s local television presenting the signature scene of the first season. Junya Enoki, who voices over Yuji Itadori will appear in the comment video. Jujutsu Kaisen\u00a0will also have its own stage at the upcoming Toho Animation 10th Anniversary Event, on September 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>About Jujutsu Kaisen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jujutsu Kaisen<\/em>\u00a0is based on a manga by Gege Akutami that is currently being serialized in Shueisha\u2019s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga launched on March 5, 2018, and 20 volumes are currently out. Viz Media is publishing the manga in English. The manga exceeded\u00a070 million copies\u00a0in circulation earlier this August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0Jujutsu Kaisen\u00a0anime adaptation by studio MAPPA premiered in 2020. The same studio also animated the\u00a0Jujutsu Kaisen 0\u00a0prequel movie, which is based on a one-shot manga of the same name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series centers on Yuji Itadori, a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses\u2026 and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
