During a screening of the Laid-Back Camp \/ Yuru Camp<\/strong><\/a> movie in Japan, the anime film’s cast members announced that the anime is getting a 3rd season, and the manga’s artist Afro released a new illustration to celebrate!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More info on the anime will come over the coming months. Since the anime was announced by its original cast members, it’s safe to assume that many of its original cast will return for the new season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laid-Back Camp is a slice-of-life camping series following the calm and reserved Rin Shima who often camps by herself, and her unlikely friend Nadeshiko Kagamihara, a larger-than-life and joyful girl! The series covers their daily lives and camping trips, along with several camping tips, exploring the joys of camping, and the struggles you may find along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laid-Back was included in the American Library Association’s list of Great Graphic Novels for Teens in 2019, and was also nominated for an Eisner award for the Best U.S. Edition of International Material\u2014Asia category. Many outlets also included the first anime season as one of the best anime of the 2010s, including Polygon Crunchyroll, IGN, and even The Guardian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
