With the manga series releasing its 1103rd episode, the Detective Conan<\/a><\/strong> series written and illustrated by manga artist Gosho Aoyama has been gaining traction as the series gears up for its 26th movie. Amidst the hype, the Shonen Sunday magazine’s first issue included a teaser visual pinup page illustrated by Aoyama. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pinup reveal would coincide with an announcement on the Detective Conan Movie Official Twitter account earlier today stating that the film will open on April 14, 2023, just two weeks before Golden Week in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the previous teaser, the title of the movie was mysteriously hidden so as to not show the second half of the title. The new teaser visual however now officially spells out the title of the 26th movie to be “Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine” (\u540d\u63a2\u5075\u30b3\u30ca\u30f3 \u9ed2\u9244\u306e\u9b5a\u5f71).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Showing up on the key visual as well as in the teaser is the phrase “Don’t die, Haibara”. The striking image would also feature Conan himself reaching for her sinks, alluding to the possible threat the titular detective will be facing this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the key visual, we can also see in the background that the focus of the plot will likely center around the members of the Black Organization who are the secret crime syndicate Conan often crosses paths with on his investigations. Interestingly as well is the presence of Shuichi Akai and Tooru Amuro who haven’t seen each other in film form since 2016’s Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare movie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
