Altergear, the alternative brand of Idea Factory, officially launches Soukai Tenki<\/a><\/strong> for Nintendo Switch on December 8. The price for the physical and download releases is JPY$7150, and the special edition, which comes with the God of Troublesome Gods drama CD and character cards, is priced at JPY$9350.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you were not aware, Altergearis a brand-new alternative brand from Idea Factory. What differs from the Otomate brand is that it will be focusing on novel games with male characters as protagonists, and their main characters’ stories will focus on their friendship and bond. Soukai Tenki is the first title of this new brand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story of Soukai Tenki centers on Minato, an amnesiac boy who remembers only his name and was banished as an exile\u2015someone who has committed a crime on Ikishima, an island far from the mainland. Unable to comprehend the situation, the mysterious Minato is accepted by island boys Kazuya, Nagisa, and Reiji, with whom he gradually forms strong \u201cbonds\u201d as they interact, occasionally fight, and grow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although his memory had not returned, Minato was living a new and peaceful life. However, the powers of darkness were gradually stealing the sunlight from this peaceful island far from the mainland.
