The staff of the television drama adaptation of Maki Marukido’s The End of the World, With You<\/a><\/strong> BL manga revealed a new visual and full cast. It was also announced that Sousyo Tomimoto plays the role of Yuma Hirose, and Baku Idegami plays the role of Meguru Kagami and Madoka Kagami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drama will run for eight episodes, stars Toshiki Seto and Keisuke Nakata, and will air on ABC TV from January 29, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Published by On Blue (Shodensha), The End of the World, With You is a Yaoi Psychological Drama set in an apocalyptic world by Marukido Maki, known for her manga Pornographer, which also received a live-action adaptation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A giant meteorite will fall to the earth and there are only 10 days left until the earth’s destruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Masumi Nishina, an office worker with nothing to live for, visits the library of his alma mater to spend his remaining time quietly. There, he runs into Ritsu Kusakabe, a man who once hurt him deeply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Masumi gradually became attracted to Ritsu in the past, who belonged to the same club as him, and they developed a special relationship, but Ritsu betrayed and left him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, Ritsu was a man that Masumi never wanted to see again, but\u2026 when Masumi rejects Ritsu’s proposal to stay with him until his last day on earth, Ritsu shows Masumi a medicine that allows him to die quickly just by taking it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the sweet night, Masumi and Ritsu spent as students to the last day of the earth’s destruction when the sun will never rise again. What will happen to the two of them, and to the world? This is a frustrating and endearing, heart-pounding and throbbing, apocalyptic boys’ love story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
