With the launch of the New Nintendo 2DSLL today (13th July) comes bad news for the older New 3DS. According to the Nintendo’s Official Japanese Website’s Product page, the production on the regular sized New Nintendo 3DS which was released in 2014, has officially ended in Japan.<\/p>\n

The New 3DS was released in October 2014, alongside the New 3DSLL. The new versions are an upgraded version of the original 3DS. Other than the size difference between the New 3DS and the New 3DSLL, the smaller New 3DS also allowed users to change the case of the handheld device.<\/p>\n

Production for the larger New 3DSLL is still ongoing, but for those who wants their 3D gaming feature on a smaller device, now maybe the only chance to get your hands on a New 3DS!<\/p>\n
