Bushiroad has revealed that a new Macross series console title is in development titled Macross Shooting Insight and it would be developed by Kaminari Games, who have worked on titles such as Miss Kobayashi\u2019s Dragon Maid Burst Forth!! Choro-gon Breath<\/strong><\/a> and Love Live! School Idol Festival ~after school ACTIVITY~ Wai-Wai! Home Meeting!!<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement also coincided with a statement by Bushiroad that they would be entering the console market as the publisher, under a new brand Bushiroad Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Macross is originally a Japanese science fiction mecha anime media franchise\/media mix, created by Studio Nue, mecha designer and producer Sh\u014dji Kawamori in 1982. The franchise features a fictional history of Earth and the human race after the year 1999, as well as the history of humanoid civilization in the Milky Way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series consists of four TV series, four movies, six OVAs, one light novel, and five manga series, in addition to 40 video games set in the Macross universe, two crossover games, and a wide variety of physical merchandise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>About Macross Shootin Insight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The announcement mentioned that Macross Shooting Insight is slated to arrive this year in 2023 and will be available for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and Steam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The title is described as a “new sensation scrolling shoot ’em up”, from what little was shown in the event trailer, we can see how the game will take the form of a traditional arcade shoot ’em up, featuring vertical and horizontal scrolling segments!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
