Sony Pictures Entertainment released a teaser for a new CG animated Resident Evil<\/strong><\/a> film titled Resident Evil: Death Island. This film follows the events of Resident Evil: Vendetta which came out in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film follows the multiple POVs of characters on different incidents across the united states. Leon is trying to thwart the kidnapping of Dr. Antonion Taylor, while Chris Redfield is investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco. The only thing tying these incidents together is that all the victims have previously visited Alcatraz Island. On a search for answers, Chris heads to Alcatraz, only to find a new fresh hell awaiting him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This film sees for the first time the four characters Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy, and Rebecca Chambers all in the same film and the debut of Jill Valentine in the Resident Evil animated films. In the previous film the characters were played by Kevin Dorman as Chris, Matthew Mercer as Leon, and Erin Cahill as Rebecca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film is due to be released in the summer of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
