Amazon Games announced<\/strong><\/a> that the company signed an agreement on February 22 to help NCSoft publish the MMORPG Throne and Liberty \/ Lineage Eternal<\/strong><\/a> to North America, South America, Europe, and Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throne and Liberty is an MMORPG being worked on by NCSoft, and was originally a sequel to the first lineage game and was announced in… 2011. As you can guess, the game’s suffered several delays but held a closed beta test back in 2016 before the game was later rebooted as Project TL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly the announcement from Amazon doesn’t give us any additional details as to when Throne and Liberty would be launching, as it mostly goes into the game and the two companies history. At the very least, it helps to cement that Throne and Liberty will launch, and it’s nice to know it will have a simultaneous release in several regions… Except for Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throne and Liberty will launch for the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S with cross-play enabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throne and Liberty is an MMORPG combining story-driven adventure and action combat. In the game, players take on a class and enter a vast world with constantly shifting geography, environmental features, and political powers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game has been delayed several times over the decade with it initially being revealed in 2011. Throne and Liberty was originally titled Lineage Eternal as a sequel to the Lineage series, before changes in development had its story and structure change heavily, with it receiving another reboot in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game’s biggest feature is its massive scale player vs player and player vs environment combat, where you can transform into animals to soar through the air or even dive down into the sea, battling players and other monsters out in the world in massive team-based, or PVP combat. You’ll even be able to trigger environmental effects like storms, eclipses, and more to help shift the battle in your favor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
