The succinctly named manga series by Eri Ejima, Young Ladies Don’t Play Fightin Games (Tai Ari Deshita. ~Oj\u043e\u0304-sama wa Kakut\u043e\u0304 G\u0113mu Nante Shinai~)<\/strong><\/a> is getting a live-action adaptation!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement of the series adaptation also revealed the show’s visuals and cast, which includes Mizuki Kayashima as Aya Mitsuki, Ririka Tanabe as Mio Yorue, Akana Ikeda as Y\u016b Inui, Riko Nagase as Tamaki Ichinose. The series is set to premiere later this year on May 19 on the streaming service Lemino with eight episodes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games also previously announced it would be getting an anime adaptation. Still, that announcement was made in January of 2021 and no significant updates on the project have been announced. The last update had an image of Mio Yorue holding a fight stick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Created by Eri Ejima, Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games is a manga series that began serializing in Kadokawa’s monthly Comic Flapper back in 2020 and has been collected into 5 volumes while also being officially translated into English by Seven Seas Entertainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kuromi Girls’ Academy is a prestigious, refined, and elegant high school that teaches its girl attendees everything required to be an elegant woman, while nurturing the best of their talents through exceptional teaching, extracurricular activities, and manners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this school, young Aya Mitsuki finally attends her dream school after receiving a scholarship and hopes to become as elegant as the school’s idol Shirayui. But one day when walking down the school hallway, she finds the Shirayui playing her favorite fighting game series, Iron Senpai 4 and finds out she’s a trash-talking, passionate gamer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
