Bandai Namco has shared the first details of Sword Art Online: Last Recollection<\/strong><\/a>‘s \u201cRitual of Bonds\u201d downloadable content during the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase at Anime Expo 2023. game. The DLC is included with the game’s Premium and Deluxe editions and explores a riveting new storyline based on the War of the Underworld anime arc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This additional content will introduce a large underground labyrinth for Kirito and his friends to investigate, enriching the lands and containing the expansion of the Dark Territory. The two volumes of Ritual of Bonds will include original characters from the game’s cast of heroines and dungeons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Original Character Trailer featuring characters from a decade of SAO games was also unveiled. These characters, interweaving fates across past games, will once again unite for battle in Sword Art Online: Last Recollection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scheduled for release worldwide on October 5, 2023, the latest installment in the Sword Art Online series will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders for the game open today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
