The Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid<\/a><\/strong> movie, the second of the two sequels to the Rascal Does Not Dream of a Bunny Girl Senpai franchise, will premiere on December 1, 2023 in Japan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The previously revealed Knapsack Kid teaser visual has been updated with the premiere date. It also revealed a new teaser trailer showing the protagonist, Sakuta Azusagawa, meeting a much younger Mai Sakurajima. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movie adapts the ninth novel in the franchise, taking place one month before the protagonist’s graduation. He suddenly meets a younger version of Mai at a beach, but before he can even begin to unravel this fresh mystery, his father calls. But why is that? Two long years later, their mother says she wants to see her daughter. What\u2019s changed, and what\u2019s stayed the same?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
