NetEase\u2019s upcoming post-apocalyptic MMORPG Ashfall<\/a><\/strong> is hosting a closed beta test on August 3 for mobile and PC in North America. Those who get to test the game during the two-week closed beta will enter an environment set after humanity was devastated by nuclear war. The war was launched by rogue AI, and you are one of the survivors in the harsh new reality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ashfall takes visual inspiration from Eastern culture and boasts a musical score composed by Hans Zimmer (Oscar-winning composer of multiple movie soundtracks including Gladiator and the Pirates of the Caribbean series), and Steve Mazzaro and Inon Zur (musical producers on the Fallout series.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The closed beta test will support crossplay between mobile and PC while the game is said to include a lot of multiplayer content just like any other MMORPG.
