To celebrate the occasion, it will have a TV anime series to be released Spring 2018, which is the\u00a0third TV anime after the second one in 1981.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-ZUqskWgL08?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The announcement video shows a man who is possibly the main hero,\u00a0Joe Yabuki, in a fighting ring. It also confirms that it is titled\u00a0Megalo Box (\u30e1\u30ac\u30ed\u30dc\u30af\u30b9) instead of the original name.\u00a0Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress&#8217;s artist You Moriyama is now directing the show at\u00a0TMS Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>Written by Ikki Kajiwara\u00a0(<span lang=\"ja\" xml:lang=\"ja\">\u68b6\u539f \u4e00\u9a0e<\/span>) and illustrated by Tetsuya Chiba, the manga was serialised between\u00a0in 1968 and 1973 on Weekly Shonen Magazine. The plot follows\u00a0Joe, an troubled young man\u00a0whose life is changed completely by being a professional boxer.
