Rurouni Kenshin (\u308b\u308d\u3046\u306b\u5263\u5fc3) is coming back in June\u00a0because “the mangaka has already reflected upon his action”<\/em> following his arrest, Jump Square said.<\/p>\n

\"Rurouni<\/p>\n

Rurouni Kenshin, written and illustrated by Nobuhiro Watsuki (\u548c\u6708 \u4f38\u5b8f), made its comeback in September 2017 after 18 years of absence. The new serialisation on Jump Square is Hokkaido Arc, set five\u00a0years after Jinchu Arc, and about Himura Kenshin looking for\u00a0Myojin Yahiko in\u00a0Hokkaido. <\/span><\/p>\n

Unfortunately,\u00a0Watsuki was arrested for possessing child porn in November and the magazine\u00a0then\u00a0halted the manga the following month.\u00a0In February 2018, Watsuki’s case was settled with a\u00a0200,000 yen ($1866 USD)\u00a0fine.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Rurouni<\/p>\n

Besides the mangaka’s repentance, Jump Square said they also had the responsibility to respond to readers’ feedback on the issue, which is why a continuation is the way to go.<\/p>\n

The new chapter will be available in the July issue of\u00a0Jump Square starting 4th June.<\/p>\n
