Originally aired in April 2018, TV anime Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou (\u3042\u308a\u3075\u308c\u305f\u8077\u696d\u3067\u4e16\u754c\u6700\u5f37), also known as Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest in English, was delayed to 2019 according to an announcement made in January this year. It is now\u00a0clear that there was actually a big change behind the scene.<\/p>\n

\"Arifureta\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The updated visual lists staff members different from before. The original director Jun Kamiya and character designer\u00a0Atsuo Tobe have been\u00a0replaced by Kinji\u00a0Yoshimoto and Tomoka Kojima. White Fox was supposed to make the anime alone, but it is now joined by\u00a0Asread.<\/p>\n

With the change of character designer, the characters\u00a0show significant difference in terms of art style. The old anime visual by\u00a0Tobe can be seen below.<\/p>\n

\"Arifureta\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Arifureta is a light novel series written by\u00a0Ryo Shirakome (\u767d\u7c73\u826f)\u00a0and illustrated by\u00a0Takayaki. Running since 2013, it has already had eight volumes published and a manga adaption is ongoing. The description by English publisher Seven Seas says…<\/p>\n

“When a classroom of students is transported to another world to act as its saviors, Hajime Nagumo finds himself the weakest link. As his friends and classmates are granted strong classes and impressive abilities due to their existing skills, he is given the weak title of Synergist.
