The new season\u00a0Free!-Dive to the Future- is going to focus on the boys&#8217; college\u00a0life, which is also hinted\u00a0by Haruka Nanase&#8217;s university jersey.<\/p>\n<p>The anime is now being directed by Free!&#8217;s long-term director Eisaku Kawanami at Kyoto Animation.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fCXaIXrIHWU?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The series\u00a0is based off\u00a0Kaji Oji\u2019s (\u304a\u304a\u3058 \u3053\u3046\u3058) light novel\u00a0High\u2606Speed!. Haruka Nanase, Makoto Tachibana, Rin Matsuoka, and Nagisa Hazuki used to be\u00a0teammates in their elementary school&#8217;s swimming club.\u00a0Haruka no longer swims in his high school days, but a sudden encounter with\u00a0Nagisa leads him to reunite with\u00a0Makoto and Rin. With the additional new member\u00a0Rei Ryugazaki, the boys begin swimming together again.
