(headquarters: Nagoya, Japan; president: Takao Hayashi; hereafter \u201cAteam\u201d) is proud to announce that the smartphone game Revue Starlight Re LIVE (Starlight for short), developed in cooperation with Bushiroad Inc. (headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; president: Yoshitaka Hashimoto; hereafter \u201cBushiroad\u201d) and Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, Inc. (headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; president: Takashi Sasaki; hereafter \u201cTBS\u201d), is planned for a global release in April of 2019 with pre-registration already under way. Supported languages will include English, Korean, and Traditional Chinese.<\/p>\n

Revue Starlight Re LIVE is a game for smartphones based on the popular Revue Starlight property in which \u201cStage Girls\u201d compete in performances to become a top star. Revue Starlight began as a live musical and in July of 2018 received a televised anime series. In the game, players can enjoy an all-original story featuring the nine \u201cStage Girls\u201d who appear in both the musical and anime series and 15 new \u201cStage Girls\u201d made specially for the game.<\/p>\n

As of today, April 2, 2019, pre-registration for the global version of Revue Starlight Re LIVE is under way with registration possible from the iTunes App Store, Google Play\u2122, and official Starlight website. Claim Karen Aijo and others for a total of nine Stage Girls from the Seisho Music Academy cast when the combined number of pre-registrations reaches 90,000.<\/p>\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>24 Quirky and Lovable \u201cStage Girls\u201d<\/h4>\n

15 new \u201cStage Girls\u201d, made specially for Revue Starlight Re LIVE, appear alongside the nine \u201cStage Girls\u201d of Seisho Music Academy featured in the musical and anime series, making for a total of 24 characters. Voicing these characters is an all-star cast of Japanese voice actresses.<\/p>\n

Players tap panels to select the actions their \u201cStage Girls\u201d will take in battle. Each action will fill their \u201cBrilliance Gauges\u201d, which can be used to perform a stunning \u201cClimax Revue\u201d when full. When a \u201cClimax Revue\u201d is set in motion, the music will change to a song suiting the active character and players can activate special \u201cClimax Acts\u201d unique to each character. Additionally, if two or more \u201cStage Girls\u201d perform a \u201cClimax Act\u201d and if special conditions are met, they can perform an even more impressive \u201cFinishing Act\u201d following the next turn.<\/p>\n

With player-versus-player battles also available to enjoy, players will have endless fun raising their \u201cStage Girls\u201d and coming up with strategies for battle.<\/p>\n

There are numerous ways players can power up their \u201cStage Girls\u201d, such as increasing their levels with experience points, unlocking skill panels, and giving them gifts. Giving them enough gifts will also reveal original stories for players to enjoy.<\/p>\n

Additionally, players can set special items called \u201cMemoirs\u201d to their \u201cStage Girls\u201d to power them up even further. \u201cMemoirs\u201d are meaningful memories of the characters that have been depicted as illustrations.<\/p>\n

The \u201cStage Girls\u201d appear in numerous outfits, and their visuals and voice samples change accordingly. Players will surely enjoy seeing their favorite characters perform different abilities based on the outfits they wear.<\/p>\n

Based on the concept of the same cast performing in both musicals and animation, the project first began in September of 2017 with the release of the musical. The songs and dances performed became a sensation, and the musical was quickly brought back in January of 2018. In that same year, the anime series was broadcast on television in July and the newest stage performance opened in October.<\/p>\n
