The anime film adaptation of Kou Yoneda\u2019s (\u30e8\u30cd\u30c0\u30b3\u30a6) BL manga Twittering Birds Never Fly – The Clouds Gather (\u56c0\u308b\u9ce5\u306f\u7fbd\u3070\u305f\u304b\u306a\u3044 The clouds gather) reveals today (27th December) the first PV and more cast. According to the PV, the cast members from the audio drama CDs will reprise their roles in this film.<\/p>\n

Kaori Makita (\u7267\u7530\u4f73\u7e54) (YURI!!! on ICE, BANANA FISH) is directing at GRIZZLY, and Hiroshi Seko (\u702c\u53e4\u6d69\u53f8), the writer of Mob Psycho 100 II and Ajin, is handling the scripts. The piano trio band H ZETTRIO is in charge of the music production.<\/p>\n

This is the first project of Fuji TV’s newly launched BL-themed anime label BLUE LYNX. Two more BL anime film project is also set to premiere next year, including \u201cGiven\u201d (\u30ae\u30f4\u30f3) based on a manga by Natsuki Kizu (\u30ad\u30c5\u30ca\u30c4\u30ad), and \u201cL’\u00e9tranger de la Plage\u201d (\u6625\u98a8\u306e\u30a8\u30c8\u30e9\u30f3\u30bc) based on a manga by Kanna Kii (\u7d00\u4f0a\u30ab\u30f3\u30ca).<\/p>\n

The story follows masochist mob boss Yashiro and his deeply devoted bodyguard Doumeki. As Yashiro develops a growing interest in Doumeki, he finds that his subordinates intentionally not engage physically with other people. At the same time, the members of Yashiro\u2019s mob are scrambling to assert power in the syndicate and Yashiro becomes the prime target. The balance of the relationship between Doumeki and Yashiro starts to crumble as Yashiro\u2019s life is put on the line.<\/p>\n
